Code Collective — Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 7, 2026

Code Collective LLC ("Code Collective," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at codecollective.io, our communications with you, our development and optimization services, and our Launch Flow Shopify app.

If you have questions about this policy, contact us at legal@codecollective.io.

This policy applies to:

Information you give us directly. When you fill out a contact form, request an audit, subscribe to our newsletter, book a call, or email us, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, email address, company, store URL, and the contents of your message. When you engage us for services, we also collect billing details and the materials you share with us to perform the work (brand assets, store access credentials, content, and similar).

Information collected automatically. When you visit our site, we and our analytics providers may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring URLs, and similar usage data, through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).

Launch Flow app data. When you install and use Launch Flow, the app accesses certain data from your Shopify store in order to function. This is described separately in Section 6.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as government IDs, health, or financial account data beyond what's needed to process payment) through our website.

We use the information we collect to:

We do not sell your personal information.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on these legal bases: your consent (for example, newsletter sign-ups and certain cookies); the performance of a contract with you (delivering our services); our legitimate interests (operating and improving our business and website, and securing our systems); and compliance with legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use the site. We use Google Analytics, which may set its own cookies and process usage data on our behalf. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and where required we present a cookie banner so you can manage your choices. Disabling some cookies may affect how the site works.

Launch Flow is a Shopify app that lets merchants schedule price changes, theme publishes, and page updates to go live automatically at a set date and time. The app takes snapshots of the original prices and content before making a change so that it can automatically roll back when a scheduled promotion ends.

We share information only as needed and with appropriate safeguards:

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy — for example, for the duration of our relationship with you and a reasonable period afterward, to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, and to resolve disputes. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. App store data is handled as described in Section 6.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email legal@codecollective.io; we will respond as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity.

EEA/UK residents have the rights described above under the GDPR/UK GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message.

We are based in the United States, and your information may be processed in the United States or other countries that may have different data-protection laws than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Our website, services, and app are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 18 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our site and communications may link to third-party websites and services we don't control. This policy doesn't apply to those, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is posted at codecollective.io/privacy with the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be indicated by updating that date and, where appropriate, by additional notice.
